Brian Wilson, die Stimme der Beach Boys, begnüggt sich zur Zeit nicht mit der Herausgabe der SMiLE Sessions seiner eigentlichen Band, er findet daneben auch Zeit genug für ein ungewöhnlich klingendes Projekt: Die Neuvertonung von Disney-Songs. Das ganze nennt sich dann In the Key of Disney und enthält elf Songs aus verschiedenen Disney-Epochen:

"You've got a Friend in me" aus dem Film "Toy Story;
"The Bare Necessities" in Brian Wilsons typischen Tin Pan Ally-Style;
"Baby mine" ("Dumbo");
"Kiss the Girl" ("Die kleine Meerjungfrau");
"Colors of the Wind 4:01" ("Pocahontas"), ein Song , der 1995 einen Oscar für den besten Song gewann;
"Can you feel the Love tonight?" und "I just can't wait to be King" aus dem "König der Löwen";
"We belong together" ("Toy Story 3);
"Stay awake" ("Mary Poppins");
"Heigh-Ho / Whistle while you work / Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for me)", ein instrumentales Medley mit Songs aus "Schneewittchen";
"When you wish upon a Star" ("Pinocchio")
