So langsam geht das Jahr zu Ende und überall gibt es schon die Jahreszusammenfassungen, ob im TV oder auch bei den CDs. Schon lange bevor das Jahr wirklich herum ist werden die besten Songs des Jahres gekürt, egal, was da noch kommen könnte. Kontor Top Of The Clubs – The Biggest Hits Of The Year MMXII ist da keine Ausnahme.

Wie von Kontor Records zu erwarten war, hat man hier eine wirklich gute Auswahl an Titeln und Stücken getroffen, die sowohl in den Charts wie auch in den Clubs zu den Hits des Jahres zählten. Allerdings war man bisher eher dafür bekannt, nur in Elektronik, Techno und Dance unterwegs zu sein. Nun wird ganz offensichtlich das Spektrum erweitert, denn auf Kontor Top Of The Clubs – The Biggest Hits Of The Year MMXII haben sich doch einige Rapper verirrt. Chris Brown, Usher oder Snoop Dog sind doch Namen, die man hier nicht wirklich erwartet hätte. Ein wenig geht Kontor damit in Richtung einer stärkeren Kommerzialität. Wie man im Internet nachlesen kann gefällt das nicht allen Fans. Andererseits wird schon noch in großen Teilen auf Qualität geachtet.

Man darf gespannt sein, ob dieser Weg von Kontor Records so weitergegangen wird oder ob dies eine einmalige Sache ist. Wenn die Qualität stimmt, wie auch hier in großen Teilen, ist eigentlich nichts dagegen einzuwenden.
